Training

At CEVRC we are lucky to have Nik Targett as one of our coaches. Nik is a freelance rider and coach. He competes in British Eventing as well as show jumping and dressage on his own horses and riding for owners

Based in Wiltshire; He also spends  time travelling to clients based around the area and also nationwide.

Nik offers quality training for both horse and rider of all levels, abilities and age, from the competition rider to the rider who generally wants to improve and get the best out of themselves and their equine friend.

The experience that he has gained through training many clients over a period of 20 yrs has also shown him that everyone including our horses all work in different ways and through his training techniques he finds the key to make your partnership tick and connect.

Having the advantage of riding many different horses and training he has had from various top trainers has educated him to have an open mind on different approaches that can be used in training.

We all have goals to achieve and it is his aim to meet those goals with you through constructive training, confidence building and at the same time making it enjoyable.

Nik also spends time schooling, retraining and producing horses for competitions and sale. Nik is always willing to take on new rides.

Nik believes in a professional, calm and sympathetic approach in all his work, but at the same time striving towards and reaching those goals.
