Hat warning from BRC

news added on 2nd February 2011

The following was received from the BRC office. "It has come to light that Patey are making a riding hat with a harness which we believe some competitors are now buying. Please note that this hat does not conform to any standard and is not allowed in BRC competitions. This link http://www.pateyhats.com/harness-option/ shows that the hat could well be mistaken for an approved riding hat."
